Brief Description
Adamus is the jewel in the crown of Destilaria Levira and that’s what the name means: Adamus is diamond in ancient Greek. The distillery has almost a hundred years of history, dedicated mostly to the production of aguardente bagaceira. In the last few years, due to heavy investment in innovation and the development of new products, it created the Adamus range, entirely dedicated to super-premium products. 
The epic poem of Adamus, the Gin, began with a study into the organoleptic properties of an initial selection of 86 botanicals. It was the team’s intention to have a detailed knowledge of the raw materials with which they would make Adamus to best complement the Baga grape, typical of the region and the central botanical in the recipe. After various distillations, separately and individually, indispensable tests, some steps forward, some back, the final formula was decided upon with 18 botanicals. The team spared no efforts For them, satisfactory was not enough, only excellence was their goal. 
Adamus is a decidedly fruity Gin which escapes the more traditional rule of juniper being the central element. On the nose we note the gentle aroma of the grape and the exotic touch of the cardamom. Fruit occupies the central stage on the palate, with the grape being followed lightly by they citrus fruits, but also a more herbal side with the lavender and the sage. 

Recipes
Adamus | Fever Tree Indian | Hibiscus, Rosemary

1. In a glass aside, add 5 cl Adamus
2. On the infuser, place some hibiscus flower petals and make the Gin infusion for about 1 minute
3. Add ice mineral water and gel the service glass. Drain the water that has accumulated
4. Aromatize with a small rosemary branch
5. Add the Gin previously infusioned
6. Add 20cl of Fever Tree Indian

Note
The hibiscus flower placed on the infuser can aromatize many Gins.

1. Add mineral water ice and freeze the glass. Drain the water that has accumulated in the cup
2. Aromatize with lemon zest and two pods of cardamom
3. Add 5cl Adamus
4. Add 20cl of Schweppes Pink Pepper

Gin Lovers Party - Gin Made in Portugal

The Gin Lovers February party will be called “Made in Portugal”. It will be a celebration of the Portuguese Gin with a selection of the best names including the brand new Friday Chic Gin, Adamus, Bolotta, Gina, Gold Grail, Mui, Nao, Wild Snow Dog and Wild Snow Dog Cherry Edition. A party without mandatory consumption and without guestlist, with license to dance, have fun and taste (of course). On the 26th of February, every sign leads to the Embaixada in Principe Real. What is a Gin Lovers Party? On the last Friday of each month since the Summer of 2014, Gin Lovers has dedicated one of its nights to one Gin brand. Beefeater, Bulldog, Blackwoods Gin Mare, G'Vine, Hendrick's, Tanqueray, No.3 London Dry, Seagram's, Wild Snow Dog and many other brands have been with us. And so it has been all last Fridays of the month. In 2016 we changed the format, but the goal remains the same. Absolute freedom, sharing flavors, meeting friends and endless Gin discovery. From 11pm to 2am, with free entry without mandatory consumption, without guestlist in the heart of Lisbon.
